About Us

With over 16 years of mechanical experience, I’ve worked on everything from cars to heavy duty trucks, diggers & loaders. If it has a motor, I'm interested. 

We started Parkshot Mechanics because I wanted to change the way people handle repairs. With the rising cost of fuel and transport, I bring my services to you, saving you time, costs and logistical headaches.

 My goal isn't just to get the job done; it’s to provide a level of convenience and skill you won't find at a standard workshop. Whether it’s a quick service or a complex repair, I’m dedicated to getting you back on the road.

Born and raised in a small town in Hawkes Bay, Waipukurau, I grew up on a farm learning practical skills from an early age. Very quickly I knew I wanted to be a mechanic. At age 16 I started my light vehicle qualification, and later also obtained my heavy diesel vehicle qualification.

In recent times I have worked over in Australia maintaining and repairing heavy machinery used for the WA mines.

When I'm not working, I'm in the shed tinkering with more automotive projects.

I have raced speedway since I was 10 years old and have recently taken a hiatus to focus on my career... that being said, when I'm offered the opportunity you will find me back in the race seat spinning laps across NZ tracks with my wife and son.
